The Digital Age is upon us and FBC Bank and Steward Bank are not getting left behind. Yesterday, the local banks announced that from the 1st of June, next month, they no longer be processing any transactions that involves paper at their branches.
Instead, customers will have to take advantage of the banks’ digital platforms to do those transactions that they were accustomed to do through paper in the banks’ branches. Such transactions include RTGS transfers, DSTV payments, internal transfers etc.
FBC will even close some of its branches so as to urge/force customers to embrace the use of digital banking platforms. Take a look at the branches that FBC is gonna close:
